El Castillo de Gribalfaro is a castle on the top of the city which has the same name. The building is one of the most visited of the city, not just for its culturl interest, but because from it you can enjoy of some unique views to the Costa del Sol shoreline. This castle was built to protect the city and the Alcazaba. In 1812 it was destroyed by the Napoleonic army when they abbandoned the city. The ruins of what it was this castle can be visited for just 2€.
