The “espetada” of Madeira is the most famous dish in the island and one of the most tasty of Madeira gastronomy. Espetada is basically beef brochettes but instead of a stick inside, there is a laurel branch. These brochettes are usually grilled and they go with fried corn on a side. Good, tasty and cheap.
