The Cabbage soup is one of the most traditional dishes in the North of Madeira. It is prepeared with the kale cabbage and other ingredients like potatoe, pumpkin or sweet potatoe, and in some places they add some meat, but in general it is vegeterian. For prepearing it, you need an iron pot to endure the hot during many hours, so the more hours it boils the more tasty it will be.
