Located just about 1 hour and a half driving from Jerusalem city centre, the Masada National Park is an ancient fortification located in the Judean Desert with views to the Dead Sea. It is nowadays very easy to get to the top of the mountain by the cable car from the Dead Sea. There are many sites to visit: the Masada Museum, the Snake Path, the western entrance complex, the ramp, the Roman siege engines etc…
