Hawaii Island, also known as “Big Island” for being the greatest in the state, is the wildest in the arvhipelago. Volcanoes Park is its highlight, an area with many active volcanoes which constantly pour lava towards the ocean. One of the most popular volcanoes is Mauna Loa, the biggest in the wolrd measured by surface and volume. You can only admire it from the sky of from the sea since it's impossible to reach due to few roads in the area and the risk of a major eruption!

Although in Hawaii Island there are many volcanoes, it has other attractions! You can visit archeological sites such as Puuhonua or Honaunau or Kiholo bay, black sand beaches where you can see giant turtoises.
