The Old Nice is the most emblematic part and the oldest one of the whole Nice. It is formed by some narrow streets and pastel-colour houses with redish roofs which look like a fairy tale. It is the part of the city where you can still admire the traditional eseence of Nice, explore little churches and discover many types of shops hidden in every corner. Walking through this area, you will realize that Nice has something very Italian, with many balconies full of clothes drying and people talking cheerfuly from balcony to balcony.

In your walk through this charming part of the town, don’t miss the frescoes and the architecture of the façades of many houses, many of them are very beautiful. A part from this, inside the Old Nice you can visit some of the most interesting spots of the city like the Square Saint François and its fish market, the Sainte-Reparte Cathedral (the oldest church in Nice), the Rossetti square, the Nice Opera or the Flowers Market.
