Trinxat Cerdanya recipe is typical of the mountains, in the Cerdanya region and its surroundings. The basic ingredients are potatoes and mashed cabbage. To add a little bit extra, sometimes it also has boiled onions, black sausage or cansalada and a splash of oil and salt.
