The Spritz is northern Italy's drink per excellence and if you go to Venice you must try it. The recipe was born when people sprayed a little water into the wine to make the taste milder but over the years the wine has been mixed with Aperol or Campari. It is usually drink during the evening when Italians fill the terraces to meet with friends while holding these orange glasses and drink this "aperitivi" before dinner.
