The Burj Khalifa means the Khalifa Tower and it was inaugurated in 2010. It is a skyscraper with a total height of 829 metres, the tallest structure in the world. It was built following the Islamic architecture of the region, like the Great Mosque of Samarra. Its construction costed 1,5 billion US$.
