The Palm Jumeirah is an artificial archipelago extending into the Persian Gulf, part of the project called Palm Islands, which include the Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira. A monorail is connecting the Atlantis hotel to the Gateway towers located in the island, the Palm Jumeirah monorail.
