The Jet d’Eau is definetely the main tourist attraction of Geneva. This amazing water fountain of 140 metres high is highest fountain in Europe and one of the most impressives world wide. It is located in the city’s port and in the past it was the water key of Geneva. The most spectacular of the fountain is the quantity of water going out from the pipe: up to 7.000 litres of water going up to the sky at a speed of up to 200 km/h. During the day, if it is sunny, you’ll be able to see a breathetaking rainbow at the Jet d’Eau. During the night, the fountain lights up and it is one of the favourite shows of the visitors but also of the locals.
