Also known by the locals as the Inland Sea, Khawr al Udayd is a settlement and inlet in the Persian Gulf in the south of the country, bordering with Saudi Arabia. It is also a nature reserve recognized by the UNESCO. Its main beach is a popular tourist attraction.
