Bilbao canutos are doubtlessly the most popular dessert in the city. Their popularity will probably have a reason… no?  They are really delicious, a puff pastry filled with custard recovered with sugar. This is the traditional and original recipe, but nowadays there are many other fillings and recipes. In the restaurants they serve canutos hot with hot chocolate and cream.
