Sobrassada is the typical cold meat from Balearic islands. It's making in Minorca is a little different from Mallorca, softer and less spicy. It's made from meat and xulla -salty pork- complimented with salt and sweet pepper. It's usually eaten spread on bread and locals can have it anytime. Though sobrassada is the best known, there are other typical cold meat such as Cuixot -a black, long and spicy sausage- or Carnixulla, a kind os sausage only found at the in Minorca.
