The Canarian islands have a wide variety and quality of vegetables like the cresses, a plant which is very used in dishes in the Canarian cuisine. The Cress stew “potaje de berros” consists in mixing the green leades with other vegetables and cook them slowly until it is stewed. It is a healthy and tasty dish.
